i’m so happy to see more advice for (effective) hair loss/thinning treatments, I’m in my 20s but I almost died last year after a diagnosis of advanced melanoma. thank goodness that i’m okay, and i actually got to keep my hair because i was treated with immunotherapy instead of chemotherapy/radiation, but my hair changed so drastically in just one year. I lost a lot of hair from the sheer stress in my widow’s peak corners/temples, and started greying really quickly because I lost my thyroid function as a side effect of the treatment. I know hair loss is an incredibly normal thing for cancer patients to go through, but I’ve always been grateful I got to keep my hair because it allowed me to present socially as if I didn’t have cancer. keeping that is really important to me… so I’m thankful to live in an age where we not only have evidence-based treatments, but that they’re so readily available. thank you Dr. Ellis!!
